Beyonce was honored with being the one to sing the great Etta James hit ‘At Last’ while Barack and wife Michelle took the floor and showed off their moves. The whole world stood still to watch the new President and his First Lady gracefully dance to the sweet sounds of Beyonce and they even brought a tear to many eyes.

Other celebrities who took part in the nights festivities were, Jamie Foxx, Mariah Carey, Shakira, Stevie Wonder, and Jay –Z just to name a few.

The recently married for 6 months Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have been denying rumors for months now that she and husband are expecting their first child.

In a recent interview with Ellen Mariah spoke about her life after marriage and how Nick is an absolutely wonderful husband.

Mariah managed to arouse suspicion however when she turned down the celebratory champagne that Ellen offered her (by the way this was Ellen’s test to see if the superstar was pregnant).

Mariah simply tried to cover up for not tasting the bubbly by blaming it on the fact that it was too early in the morning and that she was watching her figure.

Yes, I know its shocking, Mariah Carey recently revealed in an interview with the UK paper ‘The Daily Mirror’ that she in fact did wait until marriage to have sex. That is with recent husband of course, Nick Cannon.

Mariah says that “It’s not that we had NO intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy,” Mariah explains. “It’s just me, and my feelings.”

“I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is.”

While the couple only dated for two months before announcing their marriage to the world, maybe we now have some insight on why the two were so speedy in getting to the alter.
