Biography

Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16th, 1986 in Rockwood, Tennessee, USA. Growing up, Megan was the younger of two children and took to drama and acting at a very young age. At the age of 5 Megan was enrolled in drama and dance classes and already knew that this is what she wanted to do with her life.

At the age of 10 Megan moved to Florida where she continued to stay busy with acting classes and finishing off school. By the age of 13 Megan was busy with small time acting roles and a very busy modelling schedule.

She entered the American Modelling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina in 199 and took home several awards. Shortly after this Megan landed her first movie role staring along side the Olsen twins in the film Holiday in the Sun (2001). In 2003 and 2004 Megan began to get many small time parts staring in television series such as What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men, Ocean Avenue and The Help.

From this point Megan started to get more move roles and one of her first big time roles was when she stared along side Lindsay Lohan in the 2004 film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. From 2004 to 2006 Megan mostly kept herself busy playing the role of ‘Sydney Shanowski’ on the television series Hope and Faith.

It’s safe to say that most people probably know Megan Fox for the role she played as Mikaela Banes in the 2006 film Transformers.

Since then Megan has gone on to grace the covers of many magazines such as, GQ, FHM & Maxim.

Her more recent film staring was in the 2007 film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.

Megan is currently on set of Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen which is set to come out in cinemas later on this year. Megan is also currently working on a few other films which are set to be released over the next two years.

In the short time that she has been in the lime light, Megan has definitely proven herself to be a worthy actress even gaining the recognition from Warner Bros. to be the next Lara Croft in Tomb Raider. Wanting to make a name for herself and move away from the already very public similarity between fox and Angelina Jolie, she turned down the role.
