What do guy’s really look for in a girl?
In a recent survey we asked various men what they look for in a girl when it comes to dating and relationships. We then took that information and turned it into the ‘5 must knows for every girl’. Whether you’re currently in a relationship or still looking for the one, I guarantee that some of the things we found will definitely surprise.
1. A good sense of humor:
Women need to know that men always enjoy a good laugh. Showing that you have a great sense of humor and being able to laugh about the same sorts of things shows a man that the two of you may be compatible. You may not think so, but men see being able to share humor as a big plus in a relationship. As you’ve probably noticed, most guys don’t like being too serious, showing that you like a bit of fun will actually work in your favor.
2. Impressing his Friends:
Every guy loves it when he takes a girl out with his friends and they all hit it off. The ‘mates’ have a bigger influence on a guys decision to date or dump a girl than we all like to admit, but essentially we all know that’s what it comes down to. Showing that you value his friends and that you’re making an effort to get to know them, tells him that you want to be in his life and that you understand that his friends are an important aspect of that.
3. Honesty and Trust:
Women have feared the fact that their partners have been dishonest and that they cannot trust them but we often forget that men actually feel insecure about this issue too, sometimes even more so than women. Men like knowing what their getting into before they find themselves buried in too deep. Be honest with him, if you have to lie and pretend to be someone that you’re not, chances are that he may not be the right one for you after all.
4. Making him a part of your life:
Impressing his friends is a must, but women often forget that this is a two way street and that men value getting to meet your friends too! Introducing your guy to your girlfriends is a way of showing him that he’s not something your ashamed of and that you want the whole world to know that he’s your man. This also gives the guy an added sense of confidence in knowing that something may actually come out of the time the two of you spend together and that you want everyone to know how great he is.
5. Don’t be afraid of your sexual nature:
Women who are too open about their sexuality have been portrayed many times as a person who shall I say, ‘gets around’, and most women live by this and are scared of expressing themselves in a relationship because of that fear of being perceived as something their not. The thing that women need to know about men is that they find a woman who can express her sexuality as being strong and confident rather than cheap.
If you’ve followed all the steps up until now, having been completely honest with him and expressing yourself sexually can in many ways be the final step in sealing the deal.
Men are a lot like women, it may not be so obvious but in fact, men look for many of the same things that we women look for, they just don’t come right out and say it.
